Ellis Island Clothes?

I'm doing a project for school, in which we are all given characters of people who went through Ellis Island and i need help finding clothes. My character is named Sarah Dominique, and she's African/French. Previous to my arrival in America i worked on the island of Hispaniola, as a cook, a cleaner, and a Nanny. I'm 19 years old and an illegitimate child with a wealth of 60 dollars. Any ideas specifically to that character? Or just in general some pictures of what people wore coming into Ellis Island in my character's lower cl level. Anything would be great, Thanks! (:
