What should i do...?

ok well as you may know. school is starting back up. today was the second day of school and so far everything is fine. yesterday which was the first day of school, i told my friend that i have known for a while name keyshia that i heard this girl name reece was a hoe. i didnt say she was a hoe but i just said i HEARD she was one. then i said after that, that reece was a cool girl so i dont believe that its true. briana told a girl name angela what i said. and i know for a fact that angela heard me say that she was a cool girl and i dont believe that its true. so the next day which ius today. angela told reece that i SAID she was a hoe. so reece confronted me and asked if i had said that about her. i said no i didnt say that. then i said to reece i SAID to briana that i HEARD that she was one and i didnt believe it. so reece got offensive saying all kinds of stuff about how someone told her that i said it. so i said well i dont know who told you that but they switched my words around. now im not the fighting type but i will fight if i have to. and angela obviously wanted to see a fight or wanted to start something. so please tell me what went wrong. what did someone do wrong and what should i do.
